Young Adult Intensive Outpatient Treatment
Young Adult Intensive Outpatient Treatment
Our 16-week young adult treatment program delivers effective and intensive substance use disorder treatment, while allowing participants and their families to continue their work, school, and home routines.
Navigating young adulthood can be challenging, especially when compounded by substance use disorders. At Dilworth Center, we recognize the unique needs of young adults and have designed our Young Adult Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) to provide targeted, effective treatment. Located in Charlotte, our Dilworth treatment center offers a supportive environment where young adults can achieve lasting recovery without putting their lives on hold.
Our 16-week program delivers intensive substance use disorder treatment while allowing participants to maintain their work, school, and home routines. This flexibility ensures that young adults can integrate recovery into their daily lives, learning to manage real-world stressors as they progress. The program emphasizes relapse prevention, mental health support, and the development of sustainable sober living practices.
Understanding that young adults often seek independence yet still rely on parental and guardian support, we incorporate family involvement as a critical component of our treatment. This holistic approach helps to create a robust support system that maximizes positive treatment outcomes.
Whether you are dealing with drug addiction, alcoholism, or co-occurring mental health issues, our experienced drug and alcohol treatment team is here to guide you through every step of your recovery journey. Take the first step towards a brighter future with Dilworth Center’s Young Adult IOP.

Young adulthood is a pivotal time. Introducing recovery at a young age can make all the difference. Not everyone has to sink to the depths that substance use disorder guarantees. Whether you’re seeking help for yourself or a loved one, any age can achieve a life that is happy, joyous, and free from drugs and alcohol.
“Dilworth Center showed me that my life could be amazing. As a result of doing what was asked in treatment, I was able to experience joy and peace of mind that I had never known. I was able to build and improve relationships with friends and family.”
