Coronavirus Safety
Dilworth Center is doing our part to address the COVID-19 outbreak. The safety of our patients and staff are, and has always been, our primary concern.
Dilworth Center has enhanced our protocols for cleaning and disinfecting our facility. Facility-wide disinfecting procedures are completed on a daily basis.
These include disinfecting:
- Hand rails
- Door knobs and handles
- Sinks, faucets, hand towel dispensers, toilets and bathroom fixtures
- Counter tops
- Window sills
- Light switches
- Equipment controls – copiers, printers, microwaves and appliances
- Cabinet and file drawer knobs and handles
- Telephones, keyboards and mice
All patients and staff have been trained on ways to protect against the transmission of COVID-19 and other viral and bacteriological infections. These include:
- Proper handwashing techniques
- Proper respiratory hygiene and cough etiquette
- Proper disinfecting procedures for personal surroundings
- Disinfecting procedures for work stations
- If sick, patients and staff are expected to stay home and take care of themselves
All patients are screened prior to admission for
- Personal illnesses
- Illnesses of those close to them
- Recent international travels
