Hey, everybody. Pleasure to be here with you today. My name is Charles Odell, I’m the chief executive officer, and president of Dilworth Center. And today, I’d like to talk briefly with you about Giving Tuesday. Perhaps many of you already know what Giving Tuesday is but what what it really is, is simply an annual opportunity for folks to make a difference in the lives of others.

Going back to, say, 2019, giving Tuesday raised over $2 billion for charities throughout the United States. That’s a really outstanding number. And this year, we’re hoping to make an equal difference in the lives of those who need assistance. And Dilworth Center as part of a Giving Tuesday program, offers opportunities for you to make a difference in the lives of our patients and families here at Dilworth Center.

Or sometimes people, you know, need some help in assisting in the cost of providing care here at Dilworth. And what we’d like to be able to do is offer scholarship opportunities for folks who cannot otherwise afford that cost of care. And you can make a difference by providing some funds necessary to to assist those who’re needing help and what a great opportunity to do it.

You know, the holiday season is already a season in which people are focused on giving. And this is just a great opportunity to get a jump on that. Giving Tuesday is Tuesday, November 29th, and we hope that you will consider a gift, if not to Dilworth Center, to the charity of your choice.
