Hey, everybody, and thanks for tuning in today. I love this opportunity to talk to everybody. This is, I guess, what they call chats with Charles. I’m Charles and I’m your host for these things. It’s it’s a good opportunity, really, for me to share with everybody some of my enthusiasm I have about what’s going on in treatment and and where the Dilworth Center is headed these days. And, you know, we’re living we’re living in a period of history in which we’re seeing a clear escalation in problems associated with addiction.

Obviously, the overdose epidemic is gripping our community, just like many communities across the nation. And as these problems escalate, some of the questions that I typically get really has to do with treatment and and how we provide the care that effectively meets these challenges. I was reviewing just the other day, some data, as I do every month, regarding our outcomes, patients who have successful completed treatment, how are they doing one year post discharge? And I was reviewing the one year results the other day and what I saw was of all the patients who were attending treatment at that time, we had an 80% response rate for our questionnaires, which is really a very high rate. And of those 80%, 89% reported sobriety. Now, this is one year post discharge. What that tells me is, is treatment works.

These types of outcomes are common throughout our industry. Assuming that people are receiving proper care, good treatment and good treatment means different things to different people. But what we have learned through the years here, at Dilworth, are the most effective ways treating addiction throughout a treatment episode and we feel very confident that the services we provide are going to continue to provide these types of successful outcomes that indicate, once again, that treatment works.

What I would encourage everybody to do, if you have any questions about this stuff, pick up the phone and call us over here at the center. Call me. I’m available any time. Love to talk to you and talk a little bit about any questions that you may have regarding care, how we provide here at Dilworth Center and what we’re doing to maximize the chances of everyone’s successful recovery. Our goal is to provide services that will result in long term, robust recovery. We’re very excited about that, and we’d love to share it with you anytime. Thanks for tuning in today.
