Coronavirus Safety

Dilworth Center is doing our part to address the COVID-19 outbreak. The safety of our patients and staff are, and has always been, our primary concern.

Dilworth Center has enhanced our protocols for cleaning and disinfecting our facility. Facility-wide disinfecting procedures are completed on a daily basis.

These include disinfecting:

  • Hand rails
  • Door knobs and handles
  • Sinks, faucets, hand towel dispensers, toilets and bathroom fixtures
  • Counter tops
  • Window sills
  • Light switches
  • Equipment controls – copiers, printers, microwaves and appliances
  • Cabinet and file drawer knobs and handles
  • Telephones, keyboards and mice

All patients and staff have been trained on ways to protect against the transmission of COVID-19 and other viral and bacteriological infections. These include:

  • Proper handwashing techniques
  • Proper respiratory hygiene and cough etiquette
  • Proper disinfecting procedures for personal surroundings
  • Disinfecting procedures for work stations
  • If sick, patients and staff are expected to stay home and take care of themselves

All patients are screened prior to admission for

  • Personal illnesses
  • Illnesses of those close to them
  • Recent international travels
