Presented By
Allyson Graham, LCMHCA, NCC, MA
Fellowship Hall

Grief is a complicated emotion that most people have to experience. While dealing with grief can be difficult for many, it can be especially challenging for those in early recovery. This presentation will explore the science behind grief and its impact on one’s mental health, specifically for those recovering from substance use. We will also look into ways to cope, therapeutic exercises, and methods for clinicians to avoid countertransference.
