Healthy support by both adults and peers throughout the process is an essential component of recovery. Young adults often prosper in recovery when their home and social lives, as well as school and work environments, are supportive of their recovery.

Young adults frequently desire independence, but are often still dependent upon their parents or guardians for support. Participation in treatment by parents and guardians is critically important in maximizing positive treatment outcomes.

“Dilworth Center showed me that my life could be amazing. As a result of doing what was asked in treatment, I was able to experience joy and peace of mind that I had never known. I was able to build and improve relationships with friends and family.”
